Barcelona BBQ is announcing the newest feature on the barbecue platform, the Barcelona BBQ Location Listings. This is your one-stop source for all barbecue related information around town. We hope to make it much easier to discover all the information about barbecue in Barcelona, whether you live in Barcelona or are just visiting.
We already started compiling a list of our favorite locations and events, but we need your help to keep this up to date.
Here is how it works
We have divide the listed locations into three categories under BCN Locations:
- Places
- Events
- Food Trucks and Catering
Places
The main location category, where you find most of the subcategories: all the open-flame grilled restaurants and their subcategories, locations to buy barbecues and supplies, the best food markets (including a listing of the 39 official Barcelona Farmer´s markets/ Mercats de Barcelona), and friends of Barcelona BBQ platform.
Events
Listing of all barbecue events, or events that include open-flame grilling as a part of their program. We also include live music events that are organized locally.
Live music is a big part of a barbecue celebration, and in Barcelona, local live music is not supported enough. Therefore, Barcelona BBQ will also make an effort help promote local music, even if there is not barbecue at the event.
Food Trucks and Catering
Any location catering, or food trucks companies that support barbecue events will be listed here.
Where to find a particular listing?
You find these three listed categories on our locations map (Hint: The default category is Place but you can select the one of the other two categories on the bottom of the map to find locations within that category)
Below the map, you find the Search Box area; select one of the categories, and then Search using keywords – such as a restaurant name or type of product.

Another way to find a location is to use the Find Listings by Category box (#1).
The default category is the Place Category, so the place subcategories are automatically displayed there. Click on any of the displayed subcategories to take you to all the listings of that subcategory(#2) – for example, Buy Barbecuse/ Stores will take you to a list of all the places to buy barbecues.
You can also select from one of the other two Listing Categories(#3) and repeat step (#2) to find those subcategory listings.

How can you help!
Add Location/ Add Event
In the main menu, you find Add Location and Add Event.
To submit a location and/ or an event, you can easily do this with our Facebook Importer function.
You just need the facebook url of the location or event, for example: https://www.facebook.com/BarcelonaBBQ/ or https://www.facebook.com/events/594745100700121/ (Hint: make sure you do not add any extra letters or numbers after the name/ event id number)
On the Add page, insert your Facebook url and select Import Details.
Now, the information from the Facebook page should automatically update in the fields. Please check to make sure that all your information is correct, and complete, before submitting this listing for review by clicking on the Submit button at the very bottom.
You will be able to go back and update/ correct items at a later date. All submissions are subject to approval by the Barcelona BBQ team and follow the Terms and Conditions of Barcleona BBQ.
Claim your listing
If your event or location has already been listed by us, or one of your followers, you can also claim that listing as the certified business owner to make edits and additions directly to the page.
To claim the listing, simple go to the profile page of the location or event, and on the right side bar, find Business Owner? Click there and sign up or login to fill out the information to file your claim. All claims are subject to approval by Barcelona BBQ team.
If for some reason you should want to remove your listing from our site, please contact us here and we will quickly rectify this.
Add Review
This is probably the most important way you can help our community. There are many places on our site to add a review of your favorite locations and/ or event. We cannot encourage and appreciate more this critical input from you.
