Cavatast 2016

Cavatast is a cava and gastronomy tasting fair taking place on october 7th, 8th and 9th 2016. This year, the fair is going to be very special because it is going to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

Almost fifty cava producers and other companies related to food such as restaurants, butchers, bakers and chocolate use to serve more than 42.300 cava tastings and more than 22.000 gastronomic tastings to the thousands of visitors that Cavatast receives in just three days.

Cavatast is an annual meeting point where cava-lovers walk around the fair holding their glass. They enjoy the different cavas they can try and the different dishes the gastronomic companies present. Visitors are able to try new products and, at the same time, they know about new ones, but above all, they are able to enjoy the festive atmosphere surrounding the fair. At the Cavatast fair, visitors can also buy the products they have previously tasted without the need of leaving the fair. The Cavatast shop, in his former edition, sold more than 1800 bottles of cava.

During the Cavatast fair, visitors can also take part in the different available activities such as guided tours at CIC Fassina and other cellars and cava wineries in town. This year, in fact, the “Celler” cellar from La Fassina is becoming a neuralgic point for all kinds of activities from marriages and technical tastings to specialized workshops and other promotional activities.

El Cavatast és una fira de degustació de caves i gastronomia que tindrà lloc els dies 7, 8, i 9 d’octubre de 2016 i que enguany celebrarà el seu 20è aniversari.

Gairebé una cinquantena d’elaboradors de cava i d’empreses de restauració, xarcuteria, pastisseria i xocolata serveixen més de 42.300 degustacions de cava i més de 22.000 degustacions gastronòmiques als milers de visitants que el Cavatast rep en només tres dies de fira.

El Cavatast és un punt de trobada anual on els amants del cava passegen per la fira, copa en mà, gaudint dels diferents caves i de les delicioses propostes culinàries que es presenten. Tasten productes nous i en coneixen d’altres, però sobretot, disfruten de l’esperit festiu que la fira transmet. Al Cavatast també es poden adquirir els productes que es degusten sense la necessitat de desplaçar-se. La botiga del Cavatast, en la seva anterior edició, va vendre més de 1800 ampolles de cava.

Dins el Cavatast també es realitzen activitats paral·leles com visites al CIC Fassina i a cellers i caves de la vila. Enguany, el Celler de la Fassina es convertirà en un punt neuràlgic d’activitats de tot tipus des de maridatges i tastos tècnics fins a tallers especialitzats i altres activitats promocionals.
